Welcome to Ponte Vedra Beach

A city of serenity along the Florida coast

Ponte Vedra Beach is a coastal paradise nestled between the bustling cities of Jacksonville and St. Augustine. This serene town is renowned for its pristine beaches, relaxing spas, and outstanding golf courses. The comfortable weather and beautiful scenery make Ponte Vedra Beach a wonderful place to live.

In 1912, the city gained notoriety for mineral mining after finding a mineral vein running through the sand dunes. This discovery led to Ponte Vedra Beach’s original name, “Mineral City.”  Shortly after, the Ponte Vedra Club opened in 1928, which provided a new name for the city and began the city’s development as a resort community for tourists and a lovely home for residents.

The white-sand beaches are accompanied by stunning oceanfront properties designed by architect Andre Kikoski, who contributed to constructing iconic buildings like The Guggenheim Museum. The architectural style in the area includes geometric shapes and Lowcountry elements like pitched roofs, columns, and glass panels to take advantage of the daylight and ocean views.

The proximity to two major cities makes Ponte Vedra Beach easily accessible by car, bus, and plane. In addition, the mild weather makes it a haven for lovers of outdoor activities. These features make Ponte Vedra Beach a fantastic home for individuals who enjoy sun, sand, and endless activities.
